Posted on Friday, December 20th, 2019 in

Roadworks are to commence on 12th January 2020 on the A4303 Coventry Road. These works will be carried out by Gazeley’s appointed Contractor, Volkerfitzpatrick. They will be closing Shackleton Way on Magna Park at the junction with the A4303, from the night of the 12th January for approximately 48 weeks. They will be closing the A4303 carriageway overnight for approximately 3 weeks Monday to Friday, starting on the 12th January until the 03rd February to put the carriageway into contraflow running to enable construction of a new roundabout. The works are due to last for 48 weeks.  The closure will be in place overnight from 8.00pm to 6.00am, Sunday 12thJanuary 2020 to allow the installation of a permanent lane closure in each direction. This will then be closed, in each direction, Monday to Friday to enable the building of the crossovers in the central reservations. The road will be open every morning at 6am. The road will be fully closed at Coventry Road roundabout to Magna park roundabout in both directions. There will be signed diversion routes in operation, and the diversion routes will be checked regularly to make sure that they are running freely.
