The whole team at Gazeley is thrilled to have been able to play a small part in helping Lutterworth High School’s Maisie Elliott compete in the recent International Children’s Games in Taiwan.

Maisie performed exceptionally well on the global stage against some of the world’s best young swimmers and, despite being the youngest girl in the competition, managed to reach the finals of all the events that she entered.  In the end Maisie won a silver medal in the 400m freestyle, a bronze in the 100m butterfly and came a very commendable 5th in both the 200 freestyle and 200 butterfly, achieving a number of personal best results in the process.

We would like to congratulate Maisie and the whole team for their fantastic achievements and look forward to their future success in next year’s games in Lithuania.
