Sir Frank Whittle Studio School visit

In Spring, Gazeley was delighted to welcome Year 11 pupils from the Sir Frank Whittle Studio School to visit Magna Park Lutterworth for the day.

Business and engineering pupils were given a special tour of a newly constructed warehouse facility on Plot 2110 within Magna Park, which is home to some of the world’s leading companies.

Pupils had the opportunity to explore the new building, and see first-hand the size and complexity of logistics developments, whilst finding out about the 30-year history of the park.

Gazeley is committed to providing greater opportunities for further and higher education in the local area. It proposes, with its Aston University, South Leicestershire College and industry partners, to create a Logistics Institute of Technology as part of the proposals to extend Magna Park. The new Institute would bring a further and higher education facility to the area that will deliver education from levels 4-8 as well as training and professional qualifications. The new institute would specialise in logistics and related disciplines such as robotics, computer programming and business management.
